Privacy Policy

This policy explains what PIN2PARK collects, why, who it is shared with, and the choices you have. It covers the PIN2PARK mobile app and this website.
PIN2PARK is operated in the United Arab Emirates and across the Middle East by Lamaram Development LLC, a limited liability company registered in Wyoming, United States, at 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801. Lamaram Development LLC is the data controller responsible for the information described below.

The short version
- We collect your location, including while the app is closed or not in use, so the app can tell when you park and when you drive away.
- Spots shared with other drivers are anonymous. Other users see a location on a map — not your name, photo, phone number or plate.
- We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
- You can turn off background location at any time in your device settings, or delete your account from within the app.
Why we collect location in the background
PIN2PARK works by noticing two moments: when you park, and when you leave. Detecting them requires location access while the app is not open, because both usually happen with your phone in a pocket or bag.
When you grant "Allow all the time", the app can:
- Save where you parked, so you can find your car later
- Detect that you have driven away, and offer the spot you just left to another driver
- Credit your account for a spot that is successfully handed over
Background location is used only for these purposes. If you deny or revoke it, the app still works, but you must announce parking and leaving manually and you will not earn credits automatically.

What we do not collect
We do not collect your contacts, calendar, microphone, call history, SMS, or the other apps on your device. The app does not track you across other companies' apps or websites, and we do not sell personal data.
What other users can see
When a spot is shared, other drivers see its location and status on a map, and a rating. They do not see your name, email, phone number, photo, car details or number plate.
Your parked-car location is private to you until you leave that spot and it is announced as available.
Who we share data with
We use a small number of service providers, who process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes:
- Supabase — database, accounts and authentication
- Google Maps — maps and address lookup
- Google Firebase — push notifications and crash reporting
- RevenueCat, Apple and Google — purchases and subscriptions. Card details are handled by the app stores and never reach us
- OCR.space — reading text from a parking sign photo, when you choose to use the scanner
About the sign scanner. If you photograph a parking sign, that image is sent to OCR.space to extract the text. We send only the photo you took. Use the manual entry option instead if you would rather the image did not leave your device.
We may also disclose data where required by law, or to protect the safety and rights of users.
Keeping and deleting data
- Parking spot records are kept while they are relevant to the service and in anonymised form afterwards for statistics.
- Diagnostic events are kept for a limited period for troubleshooting.
- Transaction records are kept as long as required for financial and tax purposes.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account yourself, in the app, under Profile → Delete Account & Data. No email or request to us is needed.
Deletion runs with a 14-day grace period. Your account is deactivated straight away — your profile and parking spots are hidden from other drivers — and permanently erased after 14 days. If you change your mind, simply log back in within those 14 days and your account is restored.
After 14 days your personal data is wiped. Financial transaction records are kept, as we are required to retain them for accounting and tax compliance.
Deleting your PIN2PARK account does not cancel a subscription bought through the App Store or Google Play. Cancel that in your device's store settings, or billing continues.
Your choices
- Location. Change or revoke access at any time in your device settings. On Android: Settings → Apps → PIN2PARK → Permissions.
- Notifications. Turn off in the app or in device settings.
- Camera. Only used when you open the sign scanner.
- Deletion. Delete your account yourself at any time in the app, under Profile → Delete Account & Data. See "Deleting your account" above.
- Access. Email info@pin2park.net to request a copy of your data.
Children
PIN2PARK is for licensed drivers and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored on managed infrastructure with access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit what is collected and who can reach it.
International transfers
The service operates in the United Arab Emirates and the wider Middle East, but Lamaram Development LLC is established in the United States and our service providers run servers in several countries. Data collected in the region is therefore processed outside it, including in the United States and the European Union. Where that happens we rely on the contractual data protection terms of the providers listed above.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top always shows the current version, and material changes will be announced in the app.
